Jack N’ Jill is an upcoming Science-fiction comedy film which is written, directed and choreographed by Santosh Sivan, who is making his comeback in Malayalam Film Industry after 2017 crime thriller “The Great Father”. Santosh is also serving as the show runner along with Ajil S.M.
Along with that Santosh is producing the film with Gokulam Gopalan and M. Prashanth Das under the banners of Sree Gokulam Movies and Sewas Films. V.C. Praveen and Baiju Gopalan are the co-producers while Krishnamoorthy and Sudhakar Cherukuru are serving as the executive producer.
Amith Mohan Rajeswari, Suresh Kumar Raveendran and Vijesh Thottingal have written the dialogues. On the technical front, Renjith Touchriver is handling the editing. The film has music and background score by Jakes Bejoy, Ram Surendar and Gopi Sundar. BK Harinarayanan has penned the lyrics.
Jack N’ Jill Release Date
The makers of the movie have announced its official release date, and now its is confirmed that the film will have its worldwide theatrical release on May 20, 2022. It will be distributed by Joy Movie Productions. Initially it was scheduled to be released in April 2020, but was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Popular Malayalam actress and National award winner- Manju warrier is playing the major female lead in this upcoming science fiction film. Since the pandemic, the actor has had only 3 theatrical releases including The Priest, Chathur Mukham and Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. Her recent release Lalitham Sundaram was released theatrically on Disney+ Hotstar.
The actress has also wrapped up shooting for Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s Kayattam, Aamir Pallikal’s Ayisha and Mahesh Vettiyaar’s Vellari Pattanam. She will also be seen in Prajesh Sen’s Meri Awas Suno which will be released on May 13, 2022.
The film also stars Soubin Shahir of 2018 sports drama “Sudani from Nigeria” fame, Kalidas Jayaram, Aju Varghese, Indrans, Shaylee Krishen and Basil Joseph in crucial role in the film. It also features actor Nedumudi Venu, who died in October last year, at the age of 73.

Earlier, on Thursday, April 28, the makers of the movie released its 35 second long teaser that began with a dialogue “XX Chromosomes were always superior to the XY Chromosomes. I mean women ” that depicts how women are better, they are charismatic and have an investigative mind as well.
It further shows Manju Warrier in a rustic character playing some major action sequences. It is a genre-bender with humor, action and sci-fi elements.
