The Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has established herself in Bollywood. She has worked with Bollywood’s big names like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, and Tiger Shroff.
Born on 11 August 1985, Jacqueline Fernandez won the Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant in 2006 and started a career in modeling after completed graduation from the University of Sydney. She also worked as a television reporter in her country.
During a modeling assignment in India, she was selected by Sujoy Ghosh to play a female lead in the film Aladin (2009) which also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh. The film failed at the box office. She got some recognition with her first item song Dhanno (Aapka Kya Hoga Janab-e-Ali) in Housefull (2010) and she became a star.
In 2011, Jacqueline Fernandez appeared in a crime thriller film Murder 2 alongside Emraan Hashmi. It was her first commercial hit in three years. After Murder 2 she worked with superstars in Housefull 2 (2012), Race 2 (2013), and Kick (2014).
