Tamil Cinema actor, producer Suriya starrer Jai Bhim is all set to premiere on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. It is one of four movies that Suriya’s banner 2D Entertainment signed with Amazon Prime. The film is a courtroom drama.
The other three movies that production house 2D has signed with Amazon are Raame Anadalum Ravane Anadalum, Udanpirappe, and Oh My Dog, where Udanpirappe is a family drama and will release on Oct 14, Suriya’s actress wife Jyothika is appearing in a lead role in the film.
Rame Anadalum Ravane Anadalum which is a political satire film has already been released in Sept, and the third movie of the production house Oh My Dog will release in Dec. this year.
Star Cast of Jai Bhim
Producer Suriya is featured in the main lead, in this court drama, as a lawyer. Rajisha Vijayan, Lijomol Jose, Prakash Raj, K. Manikandan, Ravi Venkataraman also stars in the movie.
Jai Bhim Release Date & Plot
Jai Bhim tells the tale of a tribal girl, whose husband after going missing, seeks the help of a High Court lawyer, written and directed by T.J Gnanavel, bankrolled by the husband-wife duo Suriya and Jyothika, Distributors.
Amazon on Oct 1, 2021, was announced the release date of the film on their official Twitter handle. The movie had a direct digital premiere on Nov 2nd, 2021 coinciding with Diwali on Over The Top platform Amazon Prime Video.

Jai Bhim Budget & Poster
This legal drama revolves around only in court, it will be a low-budget film, the budget of the film is expected to be around 5 to 10 crores. However, there is no official statement from the maker of the film regarding its production cost.
Amazon Prime released its Poster along with its release date featuring Suriya in a lawyer’s outfit, and a pregnant tribal woman with her girl in the poster.

Collab with Amazon Prime Video
According to a report of India Today Suriya talked about its collab with 2D Entertainment he said that “In these unprecedented times of Covid- 19 Pandemic, we had to think about our product releases on different platforms, Amazon prime Video OTT platform emerges as a chosen one”
S.R Kathir is the cinematographer, Philomin Raj has looked at the post-production work, he edited the film, Music is composed by E.J Sudesh, made under the 2D Entertainment, Distributed by Amazon Prime Video. The Teaser and The trailer of the film haven’t been released yet.
