Basil Joseph’s latest release comedy-drama “Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey” is riding on terrific audience word of mouth. It has been over 1 week since its release and is still churning out moolah more than what it had earned on its first day.
The comedy-drama is directed by Vipin Das and produced by Lakshmi Warrier and Ganesh Menon under the banner Cheers Entertainment. The Malayalam film was released on Oct 28 in cinemas.

It is made on an estimated budget of 5-6 crores and has earned over 6 crore nett in 6 days. It had taken a start of 72L at the box office witnessing growth over Sat and Sun it draws in 3.75 crores on its first weekend.
Due to positive audience word of mouth Basil Jospeh-Aju Varghese starrer hasn’t seen a drop in collections on the weekdays as well. The comedy-drama accumulated 1.04 Cr on its first Monday which is around 30-35% growth as compared to its first day. Since then it has been stable at the box office.

Basil fronted accumulated 1 Cr on its first Wednesday. And as per the early reports, it remained stable on Thursday as well. As per the early trade estimations, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey minted around 90-92 L on its 7th day to take the total 1st-week collection in the vicinity of ₹ 7.9 crores nett, India.

It is turning out to be a hit venture at the box office as is evident from its BO performance which is showing a good trend day by day, in terms of occupancy rates. It is solely because of genuine word of mouth.
