Jee Karda is Amazon Prime’s upcoming original Hindi c0ming-of-age series that is directed by Arunima Sharma, who is known for directing the short film “Yellow Tin Can Telephone” (2016) and “Shor Se Shuruaat” (2016), which is an anthology of seven short films.
Sharma, along with “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 5” fame Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal, known for writing the Hindi dialogues of Prbhas led Saaho, has also written the story and screenplay of it.
It is being made under the banner of Maddock Films, the production house that in the past has produced many acclaimed films like Love Aaj Kal (2009), Cocktail (2012), Go Goa Gone (2013), Badlapur (2015), Hindi Medium (2017), Angrezi Medium (2020) many others.
Along with Jee Karda, the streamer also revealed the title of its more than 40 projects including original series, original films, and co-production in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages as part of its 2022-23 slate, in its maiden Amazon Prime Present India event that held in Mumbai on April 28, 2022.
Jee Karda Star Cast
Promising Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia is playing the female lead in the series. She was last seen in the 2022 Telugu sports drama film Ghani. Also, she has many projects in the pipeline for 2022-23 including Gurthunda Seethakalam, F3, Bole Chudiyan, Plan A Plan B, and Babli Bouncer.
Actor Suhail Nayyar, who appeared in movies like Udta Punjab, Commando 2, Hotel Mumbai, and Netlfix’s Ginni Weds Sunny is playing a crucial role in the series. He also featured in Amazon Prime’s recently-released Sharmaji Namkeen, starring Paresh Rawal and late actor Rishi Kapoor.
The series also stars TV star “Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara” fame Aashim Gulati, Anya Singh, who has appeared in “Kaun Banegi Sikharwati” Hussain Dalal, Samvedna Suwalka, and Sayan Banerjee.

About the Series
The story of this coming-of-age series revolves around the lives of a close-knit group of seven childhood friends played by Tamannah, Suhail Nayyar, Aashim Gulati, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Samvedna Suwalka, and Sayan Banerjee. It will explore the journey of these seven friends from childhood to adulthood and the ups and downs they face during that journey.

Jee Karda OTT Release Date
