Box Office Collection Day 13
Varun’s film earned Rs 9.28 Cr on Day 1 and showing the growth over the weekend, it saw a wonderful first weekend of Rs 36.93 Cr. JJJ hit the half-century in the first week by collecting Rs 53.66 crores. Further, it saw a dip of 62.42% in the 2nd weekend compared to the first and collected Rs 13.88 Cr.

To become the 4th highest grosser
Jug Jugg Jeeyo is currently the fifth highest grosser Hindi film of 2022 (excluding RRR and KGF2 Hindi versions biz) after The Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyaa2, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Samrat Prithviraj. It will soon cross the lifetime bizz of Samrat Prithviraj to become the fourth highest grosser Hindi film of 2022.
Thor 4 to affect the business
So far, total collections of Jugjugg Jeeyo stands at Rs 71.09 Cr in India, the lifetime collection of the film is being expected around Rs 80-85 crores nett domestically. However, the path ahead is not that easy as it will have to face the clash with the highly anticipated Thor: Love and Thunder at the BO from Thursday onwards.
Box Office Verdict
Varun film shows a good hold on Mon (Day 11) and Tue (Day 12) with Rs 1.80 Cr and Rs 1.75 crore respectively, taking the total domestic collections to Rs 71.09 Cr. Varun’s film is holding well on the weekdays but the drop on Mondays is big compared to the Friday, with these collections it will become difficult to earn a clean hit tag for Varun starrer.
However, an above-average and semi-hit film will be called a successful venture considering the post-pandemic time hasn’t been in favor of Bollywood with the biggies flops like Runway 34, Attack, Bachchan Paandey, Jersey, Samrat Prithviraj, etc.
