Varun Dhawan’s Jug Jugg Jeeyo is on its way to crossing the Rs 80 Cr nett mark in India, the family entertainer is successful in the domestic market as well as overseas, so far it has grossed Rs 130 Cr worldwide to become the first urban-centric film that crosses the Rs 100 Cr mark WW post-pandemic.
2019 blockbuster Good Newwz fame Raj Mehta helmed the film, it is made under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom 18 Studios. It stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor. Their performance in the film is loved by both critics and audience alike.
4th Highest Grosser 2022
Jug Jugg Jeeyo is currently the fourth highest grosser Hindi film of 2022 after The Kashmir Files ( Rs 252.90 Cr), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 ( Rs 185.92 Cr), and Gangubai Kathiawadi ( Rs 129.10 Cr). The total domestic collection of the film stands at Rs 78.48 Cr (17 days).

Mumbai Circuit is the Prime Contributor
Varun’s film is churning out well in the national properties PVR ( Rs 18.47 Cr), INOX ( Rs 13.30 Cr) and Cinepolis ( Rs 6.13 Cr). Along with it, Mumbai, Delhi-UP and East Punjab are the major contributors to the box office collections it earned Rs 23.23 Cr, Rs 17.34 Cr and Rs 8.51 Cr respectively, however, its mass circuits collections are poor.
Box Office Collection Day 19
Raj Mehta’s film recently beat the lifetime bizz of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania ( Rs 76.81 Cr), the film is now on its 3rd week and as per the trade experts, it is holding well on the weekdays.
As per the trade estimation, the film earned Rs 75-85 L** on Mon (Day 18) and Rs 70 L** on Tue (Day 19) to take the total collections of Jug Jugg Jeeyo near Rs 80 Cr in India. With it, it has now crossed the lifetime bizz of Varun’s Sui Dhaaga (Rs 79.02 Cr) to become the actor’s 6th highest grosser film.
