With one week left to complete a one-month theatrical run, Varun Dhawan’s family entertainer ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ is still showing no sign of slowing down at the box office.
The film has managed to outperform other releases like Khuda Haafiz 2, Shabhaash Mitthu, etc, JJJ has registered better occupancy than these releases on Fri. It is expected to show growth over its fourth weekend.
JJJ has already become the fourth highest grosser overseas of the year 2022 beating the likes of Bachchan Paandey, Runway 34, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Samrat Prithviraj etc. And it recently became Varun’s fifth highest grosser film crossing the lifetime of Kalank (Rs 80.35 Cr).
Box Office Collection Week-Wise
It had hit the half-century in the first week, the Week 1 collection of the film stands at Rs 53.66 Cr. Showing a decline of 62%+ it accumulated Rs 20.05 Cr on week 2. It showed a steady trend in week 3 and garnered around Rs 8 Cr in the third week.

As per Bollywood Hungama’s Taran Adarsh, it accumulated Rs 40 Lacs on Fri (Day 22) showing no drop as compared to the previous day. Jug Jugg Jeeyo’s total domestic collection now stands at Rs 81.37 Cr.
Box Office Collection Day 23
Now going by the trends, it will again see growth in the collections in the weekend, as per the trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal, Varun starrer is witnessed double the occupancy on Saturday as compared to Friday. Jug Jugg Jeeyo is likely to touch the 1 cr mark again.
As per the early trade estimation, it earned in the range of Rs 1 to 1.2 Cr on Day 23, to take the total collections to Rs 82.5 Cr in India. Varun starrer is heading for an Rs 85 Cr lifetime, it has a free run to perform at the box office until Shamshera arrives. It can earn more than 85 Cr as recent releases Hit and Shaabash Mithu have been rejected by the audience on the first day itself.
