Directed by Raj Mehta of Good Newwz fame, the family entertainer Jug Jugg Jeeyo had hit the theatres on June 24, 2022 and opened to positive response from the audience as well as critics.
The family entertainer is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions in association with Viacom18 Studios and stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the lead roles with Prajakta Koli and Manish Paul in supporting roles.
The star-packed film has been making headlines since its announcement and is based on an on-and-off relationship of a husband and wife played by Varun and Kiara,respectively. The film is receiving a lot of appreciation with all praises for the star cast.
It is expected to become a big money maker and the whole team is doing everything possible to push the audience in theatres. Earlier, they also organised a film- screening event for fans and left no stone unturned to promote the film.

1st Weekend Box-office Collection
This big ticket family entertainer earned Rs. 9.28 crore on its opening day and got a solid push of 35.24% on the Day 2 of its release earning 12.55 cr. On the third day (Sunday), the film showed an immense growth and collected Rs. 15.10 cr., taking the first weekend total to Rs.36.93 in India (Net).

The Raj Mehta directorial is an entertaining blend of drama, humour, romance, comedy and emotion and is receiving a big thumbs up from the audience. The film saw a 20% growth on Sunday in collection. Now, it has passed the crucial Monday test.
As per the media sources, the film sees only a 40% drop in collections compared to the Friday, this means Jugjugg Jeeyo earns around Rs 5 Cr on its first Monday, taking the total collections to Rs 41 Cr+.
It now needs to maintain the momentum in the upcoming days and then a spike in the second weekend will take the total collections near Rs 75 Cr.
