Varun and Kiara fronted Jug Jugg Jeeyo still continues to lead the box office race despite two new releases on Friday, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and Rashtra Kavach: OM.
The family entertainer so far has accumulated Rs 56 Cr+ in India, the film is directed by Raj Mehta and backed by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under the banner Dharma Productions and Viacom 18 Studios.
Box Office Collection Day 9
As per the early reports, it earned Rs 4.75 crores on Day 9 (Sat) to take the total India collections Rs 61.44 Cr. Jug Jugg Jeeyo is a family entertainer film starring Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the main leads, the film caters to a multiplex audience the lifetime business of Varun’s film is expected to be around Rs 75-80 crores in India.

Eying Rs 100 Cr worldwide
Jug Jugg Jeeyo was rock solid at the box office on Friday and is expected to continue to do so in the remaining two days of the second weekend. The film is also on the way to crossing the Rs 100 Cr gross mark at the box office worldwide which it will cross on Sunday (Day 10).
As per the Thursday box office final reports, Varun starrer had accumulated Rs 84.74 Cr gross at the BO WW, now the business of the film will surely be increased during the second weekend which will help the film to fetch 100 cr mark. With it, Jugjugg Jeeyo will become the fourth Bollywood film of the year to cross the coveted club after Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Vivek’s The Kashmir Files and Kartik’s Bhool Bhuliayaa 2.

Box Office Collection Day 8
Reportedly, Varun’s film raked in around Rs 3.03 crores on its second Friday (Day 8) taking the total domestic collections Rs 56.4 crores nett with a routine drop of 20%. It is still faring well in Delhi-NCR belt though it saw a dip in collections on Thu and Fri in Mumbai due to rains. The film saw a drop in occupancy on Friday morning compared to Thu but the trend increased during evening and night shows.
