After the success of the family drama show Hiccups and Hookups the streaming platform Lionsgate Play is all geared up to come up with a new original Indian show called Jugaadistan with a new genre.
The show explores the lives of some undergraduate students, talking about the Jugaadistan the Mismatched fame director Akarsh Khurana earlier told in an interview, that the show would not be like the cliche university going students which typically used to showcase to the viewers, instead, it would deal with the politics in the college, student dynamic and their side earnings.
Jugaadistan OTT Release Date
Makers are intending to stream the series on 4 March 2022 on the digital platform Lionsgate Play.
Translation, ” Welcome to the world of Jugaadistan, where love, friendship, politics or the schemes of side earnings, they have a flexible approach to solve any problem.”

Jugaadistan features Amazon prime original show Made in Heaven fame Arjun Mathur, actress Rukshar Dhillon, Tvf Trippling fame Sumeet Vyas, and actor-director Kahaani, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi fame Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Gopal Dutt (TVF Pitchers, Delhi Crime), Ahsaas Channa (Kota Factory, Hostel Daze), Taaruk Raina and Himika Bose in the key roles.

First Look Poster
Recently the streaming platform launched the first look poster of Jugaadistan, featuring the ensemble cast of the show sitting on the stairway of the university with Sumeet holding a banner in which Vote for Bhati is written. The show is promised to delve into love, friendship, politics & side earnings.
They wrote in the caption unveiling the poster, “Welcome To The World of Jugaadistan, Jahaan Pyaar, Dosti, Politics ho Ya Paise Banaane Ka Scheme, Har Cheez Ke Liye Hain In Sabke Paas Ek Ultimate Jugaad ka Scene.”

Lionsgate Play Indian original contents?
Talking about the over-the-top platform Lionsgate Play they have launched their first original Indian show in the year 2021 with the Lara Dutta starrer family-comedy drama series Hiccups and Hookups, viewers loved the show whereby the streaming platform renewed the series for season 2.
After Jugaadistan, the platform has one more Indian original Rohan Khambati directorial on the way. though the latter show hasn’t been titled yet, the new series is touted to be a spy thriller and will be made under Endemol Shine India and Hypaethral Media.
