Jungle cry is an upcoming sports drama film based on a true story, directed by Sagar Ballary who is best known for his films like Bheja Fry (2007), Bheja Fry 2 (2011), and Bhatukli (Marathi) (2014) while the screenplay of the film is written by Diane Charles and Dipankar Giri. Rohit Kulkarni has composed the music and original score of the film.
The film is bankrolled by Prashant Shah under the banner of Bollywood Hollywood Production in association with Jaswant Singh. Movies like My Name is Khan, Padman, and Zero have also been produced under this banner. On the technical front, Sailessh Dubey and Parixit Warrior have taken care of editing and cinematographic work.
Jungle Cry OTT Release Date
The makers of the movie have announced the official release date of the film today, on May 13, 2022. It is now confirmed that the film will have its directed-to-digital release on Lionsgate Play on June 3, 2022.

A song from the movie titled Hero has also been released, it has the melodious voice of Jubin Nautiyal while the lyrics are penned by Palak Mucchal who has also composed its music.
Jungle Cry Star Cast
The film stars Dev.D fame Abhay Deol in the lead as coach Rudra. American actress Emily Shah is also making her Bollywood debut with this highly anticipated sports drama, she will be playing physiotherapist Roshni Thakkar. The film also stars Julian Lewis Jones as Dale Bright, Sherry Baines as Nicola Bennett, Ross O’Hennessy as Tim Harris, Richard Elfyn as Richard Ben, Rhyps Ap Willaim as Mark, Atul Kumar.
Jungle Cry also has interesting cameos by renowned Rugby names such as referee Nigel Ownes, Wales, and British Lions fly-half Phil Bennet and former captain of Wales Colin Charvis.

The trailer of this most-talked-about sports drama film was released today, on May 13, 2022. The nearly 2.5-minute-long trailer shows the true and inspiring story of 12 underprivileged and orphan children from the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences in Orissa, India. It follows the journey of 12 underprivileged tribal children who train hard to master the beautiful game of Rugby, within 4 months and became the roaring Jungle Cats of India and go on to win the prestigious U14 Rugby World Cup in England in 200 7.
