Kallapart is an upcoming action thriller film that is set to release this month. It is directed by P. Rajapandi who is best known for directing MX Players’ 2021 Tamil crime web-series Kruthi Kalam that starrer Santhosh Prathap and Sanam Shetty in the lead roles.
The film is bankrolled by S. Seena and S. Parthi under the banner of Moving Frame Production while Ramachandran V. is serving as the production executive. The film’s dialogues are written by RK. On the technical front, Aravind Krishna is cracking the camera, Elayaraja S. has taken care of editing work and Nivas K. Prasanna has composed the original score of the film.
Kallapart Star Cast
The crime thriller features actor Aravind Swami in the lead role. The actor was last seen in the 2021 biographical drama film Thalaivii, based on the life of Indian-actress and politician from Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalithaa. Aravind portrayed the character of actor-filmmaker-politician M.G. Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR, who also served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu state.
Actress Regina Cassandra, who played Indian scientist Vikram Sarabhai’s wife Mrinalini Sarabhai in SonyLIV’s Hindi biographical series Rocket Boys is the female lead in Kallapart. The actress played the lead in various successful films like Siva Manasulo Sruthi, Kotha Janta, Mughizh, Evaru and many others. Saranya Ponvannan and Anandraj will also be seen in important roles in the project.
Kallapart Release Date
The makers of the film have revealed the official release date of the film. It is confirmed that the film will be released theatrically on June 24, 2022 worldwide. The release date was announced with the film’s new poster featuring Arvind Swamy in a serious look and staring at his gun. Kallapart has also been censored with a U/A certificate.
Reportedly, the film was planned to be released in the Summer of 2019, however, due to unknown reasons, it was unable to do so. Earlier, it was also said that the film will premiere directly on OTT but later the plan was changed and now the makers are planning to give it a theatrical release.

Kallapart First Look Poster
On September 17, 2021, the film’s first poster was unveiled, it featured Arvind, dressed in a v-neck t-shirt, seen smoking a cigarette while unwrapping a roller bandage from his left hand. It was launched by Kollywood megastar Vijay Sethupathi on social media. Have a look:
