Kollywood megastar Kamal Haasan’s blockbuster Vikram is set to grace another OTT platform, after having its post theatrical release on Disney+Hotstar.
Yes!! You heard it right, the highest grossing Tamil film of the year, which created havoc at Box-office has locked in another OTT partner, which is India’s one of the leading OTT platforms, Zee5.
The film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is a spin off film of Kamal Haasan’s 1986 film of the same name, which emerged as a superhit film at that time and had a theatre run of over 100 days.

Vikram Zee5 Premiere Date Locked
The Pan India high-octane action thriller was released theatrically on June 3, 2o22 in Tamil and dubbed Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada versions. The Hindi and Telugu dubbed versions were released under the title “Vikram Hitlist”.
After 35 days of its theatrical release, the film was released on Disney+Hotstar on July 8, 2022 in all these five languages. Now, the mega blockbuster has found a new home and is to stream on Zee5 on September 7, 2022, two months after it streamed on Disney+Hotstar in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.

Vikram Star Cast
The film produced by Kamal Haasan’s RajKamal Films International starred superstar Kamal Haasan in the title role as Commander Vikram/Agent Vikram. “Makkal Selvan ” Vijay Sethupathi played an antagonist Sandhanam, a drug lord and a gangster.
Align with these actors, Vikram also starred the powerhouse of talented- Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Santhana Bharathi, Elango Kumaravel, Chemban Vinod Jose, Hareesh Peradi, Gayathrie Shankar among others in pivotal roles.
Vikram Box-Office Collection
The film received a lot of love from audiences and garnered praise in every aspect whether it is performance, the film’s narration-style, action sequences or technical work. It grossed over Rs. 34 crore in India and Rs. 24 crore overseas on the opening day and entered the 100 crore club within two days of its release.
In the first week of its theater run, the film grossed over Rs. 260 crore and went on to grossing the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2022 by collecting Rs. 432.50 crore in its theatre run worldwide.
