“Kantara” has been winning the hearts of the Kannada audience ever since it hit the theatres. The small film is riding on amazing audience word of mouth, it recently netted the 50 crore mark at the box office.
Directed, written and starred by Rishab Shetty, Kantara marks his 4th directorial venture. Now, following the success of his latest release in the original version, it is all set to be released pan India in multi-languages.

Kantara Crosses 50 crore
Kantara has netted over 23 crores on its second weekend, which is more than 3times that of its first weekend. On Sunday, it surpassed the 50 crore mark at the box office. It will soon be released in other languages as well. The Hindi and Telugu trailer of the movie has been locked and will soon be released in Kerala.
Box Office Collection Day 11
Rishab’s film has clocked in another 1.15 crore from advance bookings for day 11th. As per the early trade trends, it accumulates 3 crores on its second Monday to take the total collections of Kantara to over 56 crores.
As per the reports, Kantara clocked in over 30 crores in its first week and is expected to nett Rs 35 crore in its second week taking the total two weeks’ collections in the vicinity of 65 crores.
