The small film Kantara has shown complete dominance at the box office the flick has emerged as a huge hit in all versions. It has crossed the 300 crores mark at the box office worldwide and is not in the mood of slowing down anytime soon.
It is witnessing growth even after 4 weeks of its release at the box office. It is made on a budget of 16 crores and has made a profit of 20 crores from Telugu states alone. It is eying to cross 50 crore nett in the Hindi market soon. The Kannada sensation is showing complete dominance at the box office.

Crosses 300 Cr WW
Rishab Shetty’s film churned out over 9 crores gross on its 5th Tuesday and crossed the 300 crores mark at the box office worldwide, as per the trade reports. Not only this, it is now only 2.7 crores away to cross the 150 crore nett mark in Kannada, it is expected to cross the feat by tomorrow.
Kantara Hindi version recently surpassed the KGF-1 Hindi lifetime to become the 7th all-time top performer in the Hindi market for a south film. It is the 2nd Kannada film after KGF-2 to have grossed that big in the northern market.
Box Office Collection Day 34
Kantara had shown growth in bookings on Day 34, the trend has again become stable on the 5th Wed. It clocked in over 1 crore from the pre-sales for day 34. Now, going by the trade estimations, it clocked in 3.8-4.2 cores on the 34th day to take the total nett domestic collections of Kantara over 245 crores, all versions.

It seems Kantara will draw in another 50 Cr week, the next target of Katnara would be to cross the 250 crore nett mark domestically, all versions and then head for 275-280 crore lifetime.
