It has been over six weeks since Kantara hit the theatres, and the small film is now inching closer to 400 crores worldwide. No one would have imagined a film that opened with 1.95 Cr at the box office will be achieving such a feat in its run.
Kantara has grossed 369.16 crores at the box office worldwide in 45 days. It has emerged as one of the most profitable films of 2022 after KGF2, The Kashmir Files, and Karthikeya 2. The flick has reaped huge profits for those who invested in it.
Despite, new competition every week, Kantara stands rock solid at the box office and continues to churn out moolah week in and week out. It is now 30 crores gross away to achieve the 400 crore milestone.

Kantara 7th Weekend Box Office
With an 8.21% growth on Friday, Kantara minted 2.11 Cr on its 7th Fri. It witnessed a huge around 93% growth in earnings on Sat and was stable with 11.30% growth on Sun. Kantara–all versions–minted ₹ 4.07 Cr and ₹ 4.53 Cr over Sat and Sun, respectively to take the total domestic nett collections over 289.26 crores.
The total 45 days collections stand at 369.16 crores gross which consist of 338.16 Cr gross in India and 31 Cr gross overseas.
Box Office Collection Day 46
As per the trade estimations, Kantara earns around 1.5 cr nett on its seventh Monday (Day 46) and cross the 290 Cr nett mark in the domestic market, all versions. As per the box office tracker T2BLive, Kantara has recovered a huge 187.40 crores distributor’s shares emerging as one of the most profitable films of 2022.

Kantara Box Office Break Down
Kantara has crossed the 175 crore gross mark in the original version, the 50 Cr gross mark in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), and 75 Cr nett mark in Hindi. The film is heading to touch the 10 Cr gross mark in Tamil Nadu and 15 Cr in Kerala.
In Hindi and the rest of India, it has grossed 92.25 crores. The overseas figures of Kantara stands at 31 crores, so far. It has reaped a huge 25 Cr profits in Telugu alone.
