Rishab Shetty’s film “Kantara” is heading to cross the 300 crore nett mark at the domestic box office. The flick has emerged as one of the most profitable films of 2022 in terms of return on investment.
It is nearing to enter into the 8th week and still continues to spell magic at the box office. Even after over one month’s run, the film is still raking in moolah week in and week out. It will easily cross the 400 crores gross milestone before debuting on the OTT.

It has set a benchmark for low-budget films so much so that it performed better on its 7th weekend than the recently released mid-low-budget movies opening weekend.
Box Office Collection Day 48
It has brought in 37.8 L from the advance sales of tickets for day 48, it sold the most no. of tickets in Hindi, followed by Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam. Kantara has sold over 25700 tickets for 7th Wed in advance.
As per the trade estimations, Kantara collects in the range 1.40-1.44 Cr on day 48 (Wed) to take its total collections over 293.5 crores+, nett in India. Talking about the box office worldwide, Kantara is now 20-25 crores away to cross the 400 crore milestone.
Kantara Box Office Week 7
It witnessed a jump of 8.21% on its 7th Fri for 2.11 Cr, it minted 4.07 Cr on Sat with a huge jump of 92.89%. It again showed double-digit growth on Sun for 4.53 crore nett.

The total 7th-weekend collections stand at 10.71 crores. Kantara’s 7th-weekend collections are higher than most of the recently released mid-low budget films. The Hindi biz emerges as the driving factor in terms of collections at the box office. It has recently gone past the 75 Cr nett mark at the box office in Hindi and is eying to finish its run with a 90 Cr lifetime.
