Kannada thriller “Kantara” has been riding on amazing word of mouth at the box office, currently. It is basking on the rave reviews from the critics and the Kannada audience alike.
It is directed, written, and starred by Rishabh Shetty, and bankrolled by the KGF makers of Hombale films. The latter is also basking in the success of back-to-back blockbuster movies under their banner.

Box Office Collection Day 6
Rishab’s film has already covered its budget, the total five-day collections of Kantara stand in the vicinity of 25 crores, as per the reports. Now, the next target of the flick would be to cross the 50 crore mark at the box office.
As per the current trend, the business of Rishab starrer will continue to grow till the weekend considering the positive word of mouth among the audience. As per the early trade estimations, it collects Rs 7-8 crores on Wed.
It witnessed 88.49% overall Kannada occupancy on Wednesday, of which 75.64% morning occupancy, 92.37% afternoon, 94.80% evening, and 91.14% occupancy
over the night shows.

Kannada audience is pouring their love over Rishab’s film. On Wednesday, it has seen the highest ticket sales since its release, as per the reports. The flick witnessed a huge over 1 Lakh ticket sales which are worth Rs 2.44 Cr. It surpassed its previous best Sunday’s 95000+ ticket sales.
