Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara has done stupendous business emerging as a commercial success at the box office. Firstly, it got critical acclaim and has been churning out moolah day in, and day out ever since its release.
Recently, BookMyShow, an online ticket bookings website, took to social media and shared a post highlighting the success of the movie, as it received a record-shatterer 99% rating with 18K+reviews. In the post, they also added that it is the first movie in the history of BookMyShow that achieved such a feat.
Kantara to be released Pan-India
Now the latest buzz is, following the success of Kantara, makers are now thinking of dubbing and releasing the film in other languages as well. So we can see the pan India release of Kantara in the coming days. The movie despite locking horns with big tickets like Vikram Vedha and Ponniyin Selvan-1 is rock solid at the box office in Karnataka.

Kantara Advance Bookings Report Day 8
Coming to the box office, it seems Kantara will not going to slow down anytime soon considering its advance bookings that are still showing growth. On Day 8, it clocked in Rs 1.42 crores which is 20Lakhs more than its previous day’s bookings data.
Box Office Collection Day 8
As per the early trade estimations, it clocks in another 5 crores at the BO making its total domestic collections over Rs 42 crores. It is now only 8 crores away to cross the 50 crore mark which it is certain to cross by Sunday, if not Saturday.
The film had overall 66.47% Kannada occupancy on Friday across all the shows (morning, noon, evening, and night), which is similar to its day 7 occupancy rate.

All About Kantara
Kantara was released in cinemas on Sept 30th and follows the storyline of a strange forest and the major events that take place there. It is directed, written, and starred by Rishab Shetty himself and produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale films. The production house establishes itself as a national brand in India with the success of its KGF franchise.
Earlier makers had said that it all depends on Kantara’s success whether it will be released in other languages or not. Now as the film has reaped huge profits for whoever invested in it, makes its way clear to have a pan-India release. However, we will wait for an official announcement from the makers.
