Kannada Sensation Kantara touched 100 crores at the box office in Karnataka on Sunday making it one of the highest-grosser Kannada films of all time. The film was released recently in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions.
Kantara has already emerged as a blockbuster in the Kannada version, the Telugu version of the flick recently got the tag of a clean hit in the Telugu states emerging 14th clean hit Telugu movie of 2022. It is doing well in Hindi and Tamil as well.

Kantara Box Office Hindi (1st Weekend)
Rishab Shetty’s film saw a wide release in the northern belt and took a start of 1.25+ crores in Hindi, it registers over 100% growth on Saturday and accumulated Rs 2.75 Cr. It witnessed a further huge jump on Sunday and minted in the vicinity of 3.97 crores taking its first weekend collections around 8 crores.
It is now eying to touch the 10 cr nett mark in Hindi. On the other, the film is registering excellent occupancy across all the shows ever since the dubbed versions of Kantara were released.
It netted a huge over 19 crores on its 3rd Sunday making it the best performing day since release. Kantara domestic collections now stand at upwards of 118 crores, all versions (18 days).
Kantara-Hindi Box Office Day 4
Kantara has again touched the 1 crore mark in advance bookings. The flick clocked in 1.58 crores from the bookings for Monday. Out of which 95L+ alone came from Kannada, 39L+ in Telugu, 20L+ in Hindi and 3.50L+ in Tamil as well.

Now, going by the early trade reports, it looks like, Kannada and Telugu versions remain in the top 2 in terms of performance. And the overall performance of the flick has seen growth as compared to the last Friday.
As per the trade reports, Kantara-Hindi collects between Rs 1.2-1.5 crore on Day 4 to take the total Hindi collections to over 9 crores. The day 4 collections are more than what it had earned on its first day.
From here, it seems Kantara-Hindi will be heading for 25-30 Cr in the long run. The movie is doing well than other dubbed Hindi versions like Karthikeya 2, Rocketry, Godfather, Vikrant Rona, Vikram, etc. And that too when Rishab Shetty is not a known name in the Hindi belt.
