The blockbuster Kannada outing Kantara was released in the dubbed versions almost one week ago, the flick is doing very well at the box office. While it has gone past the 15 Cr mark in its 5day run in Telugu version, the Hindi version of the flick is eying 15 Cr in its first week.
Kantara–all versions– to cross the 150 crore mark in the domestic market in its 4th weekend. In Hindi it has surpassed the lifetime collection of Vikram, Beast, Sita Ramam and Vikrant Rona. And is unstoppable in the weekdays. It is expected to earn 25-30 crores or more in the long run.

Box Office Collection Day 7
Rishabh Shetty starrer clocked in another 1.5 crores from the advance bookings for day 21. Of which the Hindi version contributed 23L+ through ticket sales. And going by the trends, it will remain steady in the hindi belt. It will accumulate Rs 1.90 crores to take the total Hindi collections in the vicinity of 15 crores in its first week.
Kantara 1st-week report
Kantara-Hindi saw a wide release in Hindi market and took a start of 1.27 crores, it witnessed growth on Sat and Sun and brought in 7.52 crores in its first weekend.
The movie faced a normal drop of 50% on its first Monday and has been witnessing growth ever since. It is certain to show growth on its second weekend in the Hindi market as well, the first week Box Office collection of Kantara reaches 15 crores, this is outstanding as there was no promotion, this is how a good content finds its audience.

Kantara to surpass PS-1 in Hindi and Telugu
Going by the performance of Kantara in Hindi and Telugu, it will soon suprass PS-1 biz in both the said territories and then will eye Rocketry and Karthikeya 2 lifetime. As per the trade estimates, Kantara will end its run with 25-30 Cr lifetime.
