Kantara is one of the highest-grossing films in India in 2022. It was released on Sept 30 in the original version, Kannada and further as the demand increased makers made it grandeur by releasing it in various Indian languages.
The small film which is made on a budget of just 16 crores, hit the quadruple ton (400) at the box office worldwide in its run. The IMDb rating of the Rishab Shetty starrer is 8.8 out of 10.

Kantara Netflix Release Date
The Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions of the movie have been released on 24 Nov 2022. And now the wait of the Hindi viewers, who were curious to know when the Hindi version of Kantara would arrive on the streaming platform, is over. Global audience also can enjoy this from Jan 2023, Netflix confirmed it on their social media.

As the release date of the film has been locked, Kantara will be arriving on the OTT giant Netflix on Dec 9. Recently the OTT platform released a close to 1-minute video featuring Rishab Shetty announcing the release date of Kantara.

Kantara emerged successful in all the versions, especially the Hindi version received a stupendous response among the dubbed versions. It went on to collect over 80 Cr nett in the Hindi version alone.
On the online ticket bookings website, Kantara’s rating is 9.2 out of 10 with 98.8k reviews. The film is issued a UA certificate by the censor board of the film certification. It is directed, written as well as starred by Rishab Shetty and backed by Vijay Kirgandur under the banner Hombale film which also backed the KGF franchise.
