The dubbed Telugu version of the Kannada film Kantara has completed its one-month run at the box office. And is doing very well in Telugu states, it completed the break-even in the first two days and got the tag of the clean hit.
The film is riding on stupendous word of mouth, Kantara-Telugu was released on 305+ screens in AP-TG. And opened to flying colors there. As per the Telugu box office tracker T2BLive.com, it has recovered 27.15 crore shares so far.

Kantara minted 1 crore nett on its 5th weekend in two Telugu states, with this the total collections of Kantara-Telugu now reaches, 40.65 Cr nett. It will be eying the 50 Cr nett target in its full run.
The total gross collection of Kantara-Telugu stands at Rs 51.15 Cr gross (30 days) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (home market). Talking about the box office worldwide, the film is now heading towards 400 Cr worldwide.
Kantara-Telugu made 25 Cr Profits
The theatrical rights of Kantara were sold at 2 crores in the Telugu states, therefore it needed to churn out around 2.50 crores distributor’s shares to emerge as a clean hit.
It brought smiles to the faces of the distributors and the exhibitors in Telugu as the flick had surpassed the breakeven mark in just 2 days. As per the aforementioned report, it has raked in 27.15 crore shares, which is a profit of 24.85 crores in 30 days.
It is estimated to have recovered around 15L shares on Monday (day 31), and with this, it touches 25 crores in terms of profits.
Not only in Telugu but Kantara has reaped huge profits for its buyers in all versions, apart from the original Kannada version, the dubbed versions of Hindi and Telugu are the top contributors to its earnings. The Hindi version has crossed the 75 crore nett mark at the box office, which is a huge feat for a film that is made on a 15-16 crore budget.
