There was a time when people used to love Bollywood movies due to the variety of content it used to deliver to the entertainment-loving audience of India.
However, as time passed, the perception of the audiences for the industry took slight turns when they realized that most of the filmmakers have diverted their focus from content-driven and creative scripts and instead are focusing more on glamor, item songs and showing out of the box stories that normal people can’t even relate to.
For the past few years, we have been witnessing a new trend which tells us that people all around India have been taking more interest in South Indian cinema due to the revolution the South Indian filmmakers have brought in the Indian cinema.
The North Indian audience which used to underestimate the South Indian cinema by calling their movies illogical, out of physics and all, now shows more interest in South Industry because the industry has proved itself that it can create world-class movies.
The massive success of movies like Baahubali, KGF, Pushpa and many more, is the perfect example of this. Seeing the audience’s mood, now big Bollywood filmmakers are heading towards the Hindi remake of hit South Indian films.
Keeping this trend alive, now Bollywood’s ace filmmaker Karan Johar has also made a fresh announcement on social media, in which he stated that his Dharma Productions along with Fox Star Studios has bagged the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu rights of acclaimed Malayalam coming-of-age drama Film Hridayam.
In the post, KJo expresses his happiness and gratitude towards the film’s producer Visakh Subramaniam, who produced it under the banners of Merryland Cinemas and Big Bang Entertainments.=
