Nikhil Siddharth starrer Karthikeya 2 has become a phenomenon at the box office, the film riding on a small budget of 15-20 crores has grossed over 78 crores at the box office worldwide, so far.
It was opened with rave reviews from the critics and the audience alike with praise for the screenplay, dialogues, performances and music. The music in the movie is composed by Kaala Bhairava who is the son of the music mogul M.M. Keeravani, who has composed music for the Baahubali film series, RRR, Makkhi, etc.

Eying 100 Cr Worldwide
Actor Nikhil Siddharth, playing the main lead in the film, recently informed that his movie has grossed Rs 75 crores worldwide by unveiling a poster of the same. The film turned out to be very lucrative for the producers, Karthikeya 2 is financed by Abhishek Aggarwal who was also the producer of the all time blockbuster film of this year The Kashmir Files.
It will now eye on to cross the 100 crore feat at the box office WW, and if everything goes according to plan it will go past the feat by the third weekend.

Box Office Hindi
Karthikeya 2 has already emerged as a blockbuster in the original version, Telugu and doing amazing business in the dubbed version Hindi also. It has recently gone past the 15 crore mark in Hindi and is projected to finish its run with a 30 Cr lifetime which is tantamount to its budget. Showing clear dominance the film is beating the likes of Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan on daily basis.

Box Office Collection Day 11
Nikhil fronted had a 17.21% occupancy in Telugu and 8.79% occupancy in Hindi, the film is estimated to rake in the vicinity of Rs 3 crore domestically on Day 10. As per the trade reports it has grossed over 60 crores in the domestic market. Now, as per the early trade reports, it remained constant on Tue as well, it had occupancy of 17.69% in Telugu and 8.4% in Hindi. The Day 11 total domestic collection of the film is 2.5-2.75 crores.
