The small film “Karthikeya 2” is reigning supreme at the box office across the board, especially the Hindi and Telugu versions of the film are doing phenomenally well at the box office.
The film is riding on amazing audience positive word of mouth, it recently has crossed the $1M mark in the U.S. Now amid this, we learnt that the makers are now planning to celebrate the 100 crore club entry.

100 Cr Celebrations
As per the maker’s claim, Karthikeya 2 has entered the 100 cr club at the box office worldwide, and to celebrate the success, the team along with the cast members will be seen at a celebration party for their film’s achievement which is to held in Kurnool on 26th Aug at 5 PM. The Karthikeya 2 team launched a poster on Twitter announcing the same.

However, as per the Telugu trade circles, Karthikeya 2 stands at Rs 83 crore+ gross worldwide. The film had entered the profit phase in the first three days, itself. If the trade reports are to be believed, then Karthikeya 2 has made over Rs 29 Cr profits, so far.
Box Office Collection Day 13
Along with Telugu, the Hindi version of the film is doing exceptionally well, it is creeping up to become one of the most successful south films in the north this year after KGF2, RRR and Pushpa. It has gone past 18 crores in Hindi and is eying on to beat the lifetime of Maddy’s Rocketry Hindi collections. With this pace, Karthikeya 2 will overtake Rocketry by the third weekend. As per the trade report, it collects Rs 80-90 L on Thu.

Rocketry, Pushpa and now Karthikeya 2 are the films that grew due to word of mouth in the North, in fact, the latter two films had zilch promotions and marketing before their release and still stand rock solid against the competitors at the box office.
The 2nd week weekdays box office collection of Karthikeya 2 (Hindi) is as follows: Mon (Rs 98 L), Tue (Rs 1.15 Cr), Wed (Rs 95L), Thu (Rs 80L-90L)**
