Nikhil Siddharth starrer “Karthikeya 2” is riding on the positive word of mouth, the film was opened with rave reviews from the critics and took a flying start at the box office.
For the unversed, It is a sequel to the critically and commercially successful 2014 film Karthikeya, Siddharth returns in the titular role in the sequel which also has
Anupama Parameswaran, Srinivasa Reddy and Harsha Chumudu in key roles. Anupam Kher is in the extended cameo role in the movie.

Box Office Collection Day 2
On day 1 it accumulated Rs 3.50 Cr shares from AP-TG, to become the actor’s career top opening day grosser, it is expected to see an upward trend till 15th August. Now, as per the Telugu trade reports, it witnessed a growth in the collections in the home market on Sunday, the total AP-TG collection now stands at Rs 7.31 Cr shares (Rs 11.15 Cr gross). It has accumulated Rs 17 Cr gross at the box office worldwide and will cross break even today.

11th Hit Telugu Film 2022?
Nikhil fronted is on the way to emerging as the 11th hit Telugu film of 2022, as per the Telugu trade reports, it requires only Rs 3.23 Cr to break even which it will complete today.
Recently, the other two Tollywood outings Bimbisara and Sita Ramam turned out to be big money spinner movies at the box office. Nithiin starrer Macherla Niyojakavargam is also doing good business in the home states (AP-TG). After 2 months of drought, we can now finally say that it’s raining hits in Tollywood!
