Chandoo Mondeti’s film “Karthikeya 2” is nearing the end of its third-week run and even after this, the film is witnessing a growth in its collections. As per the trade reports, it has made around 40 crore profits, so far.
It recently crossed the 50 crore mark in the home market Telugu states and the worldwide total of this small film stands at Rs 106.45 Cr gross with 52.93 crores shares in 20 days.

Box Office Collection Day 20
Karthikeya 2 was opened with rave reviews from the critics and despite the limited screen release, the film completed its breakeven in the opening weekend itself. It is now gearing to enter its fourth week and even after this it is showing growth in its collections.
On day 19, it earned around Rs 3.5 Cr worldwide which is over 100% growth compared to Tue. On Day 20 (Thu) it again saw the normal drop of 65%+ and earned Rs 1.40 Cr gross. As per the Telugu BO tracker T2BLive, it has reaped 39 Cr profits for the distributors, so far.
Crosses 25 Cr mark in Hindi
Not only in Telugu but the Hindi version of the film has found many takers, despite locking horns with biggies like LSC and Raksha Bandhan and having fewer screens/shows, Karthikeya 2 managed to beat them in terms of earnings on daily basis. Now, as per the trade reports, the film has crossed the 25 crores mark and still finds traction in the masses. Going by this, it looks like it will end its run with a 30-35 crores lifetime in Hindi.
The 20 days Hindi collection of Karthikeya 2 stands at Rs 26.23 crores.

Overtakes Rocketry (Hindi)
There is not much competition in the Hindi belt owing to the dismal run of Liger, which will allow this small film to run for over one week more until Ranbir’s Brahmashtra arrives. It crossed the Rocketry lifetime (Rs 26.05 Cr) on Day 20 to emerge as the most successful dubbed film in Hindi after KGF2 and RRR this year.

Week2: Rs 13.54 Cr
Week3: Rs 6.94 Cr
Total: Rs 26.23 Cr
We can judge the film’s performance with this that it performed better in week 3 than its week 1.
