The latest Telugu outing Karthikeya 2 is performing very well at the box office, it now has crossed the breakeven to emerge as the 11th clean hit Telugu film this year.
Directed and written by Chandoo Mondeti, it stars Nikhil Siddharth, Anupama Parameswaran, Anupam Kher and Srinivasa Reddy in the main lead roles. The film revolves around the ornaments of Lord Shri Krishna.

Completes Break Even
The Break-even target of Nikhil starrer was set at Rs 13.30 Cr, in two days “Karthikeya 2” has garnered Rs 10.07 Cr shares (Rs 17 Cr gross) at the box office worldwide, as per the trade reports. Thereby, it needed only Rs 3.23 crores to emerge as a hit venture which it completed on Monday.
The Saturday release film shows a big jump in the collection on the occasion of Independence day and garnered Rs 5.37 Cr (Rs 9.50 Cr gross) on the third day of its theatrical run. It is now in the profit of Rs 2.14 Cr.
Most of its earnings came from the home market Telugu states (AP-TG), in three days it has accumulated Rs 11.54 Cr shares ( Rs 17.80 Cr gross), as per Telugu BO tracker T2BLive.

Box Office Collection Day 3
Nikhil starrer is super strong at the box office, it is riding on terrific word of mouth, the film is expected to continue the momentum in the coming weekdays as well. As per the Telugu trade reports, Karthikeya 2 accumulates Rs 4.23 Cr shares (Rs 6.60 Cr gross) on Day 3 at the box office worldwide. And emerges as the 11th clean hit Telugu film after Bimbisara (9th) and Sita Ramam (10th).
