A new video on internet going viral is getting everyone’s attention in which Sai Pallavi is seen making a controversial statement by linking the killing of Kashmiri Pandits to the recent incident of beating muslim cow smuggler.
Sai Pallavi is a South Indian actor who has given back to back massive hit movies. In an interview with one of the media portals, when questioned about Kashmiri Pandits, she said, “oppressed should be protected, No matter whether he belongs to Right or left.” She is neutral and added “the killings of Kashmiri Pandits is similar to the attacks or Killings of Muslims during the Cow Smuggling cases.”
Users react to Pallavi’s statement
As the interview went trending on social media, users have started reacting to her statement. Social media got divided after Pallavi’s statement. Some stand in support and some against the actor.
A user commented on twitter, “I expected Sai Pallavi to be intelligent and grounded but she proved to be stupid with her nonsense statement”
A hashtag has also been trending “#BoycottSaiPallavi”
Users are also demanding that Pallavi must read and know the history before making any nonsense comments on social media.
Whereas, another group could be seen supporting the actor and commenting in her favour. Another user commented, “Either it be genocide or beating/killing of the person who eats beef or transports it is wrong and should not be supported. She is thinking like a human being irrespective of her religion. Be good, do good”.
