The rituals of the much-awaited wedding of Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have started on December 8. The couple is all set to tie the knot in the presence of family members and close friends at Sawai Madhopur’s Six Senses Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Jaipur has been buzzing with activities as guests start arriving for the wedding. The couple’s guest list includes some famous personalities includes Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar, Choreographer and director Farah Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Film-maker Kabir Khan, and his wife Mini Mathur.

Katrina Kaif Family
Katrina was born in Hong Kong on 16 July 1983 to Mohammed Kaif and Suzanne Turcotte. Her father Mohammed is a businessman of Kashmiri descent and her mother is a lawyer and social worker of British Origin.
Katrina was born Katrina “Turcott” as she adopted her mother’s surname. Father Mohammed Kaif is missing from the wedding festivities pictures, reasons are unknown.
Katrina Kaif’s Divorced parents

Katrina’s parents decided to part ways when she was just a kid and got separated. Later her father moved to the USA and the actor never met him again. All the 8 children including 7 daughters and 1 son, were brought up by her mother as a single parent.

Katrina Kaif’s Siblings and their professions

Katrina has Six sisters, 3 elders to her namely, Stephanie, Christine, and Natacha, three younger sisters namely Melissa, Sonia, and Isabelle. She has one brother Sebastien Laurent Michel who is her elder brother and second child of the family. Katrina is the 5th child of the family.
Stephanie Turcotte is the eldest among all the siblings. She is an extremely private person and doesn’t prefer to be in the limelight. Her brother Sebastien, who is the second child in the family, is a furniture designer and an adventure lover.

Vicky Kaushal: From an Engineering Student to an Actor
Vicky was born on May 16, 1988, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He belongs to a Punjabi family. During his childhood days, like every other common child, he was much interested in studying, playing cricket, and watching films.
His parents wanted their son to have a stable career, so he decided to pursue engineering as a career, and took admission to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Education and Technology in Electronics and Telecommunication.
Once he revealed that during the second year of college, he went to a company for an industrial visit where he realized that he would not be able to do an 8-hour job by sitting in front of a computer, decided to pursue his career as an actor, and joined theatre.
Vicky Kaushal Family
Vicky was born to a Bollywood action director Sham Kaushal and a homemaker mother Veena Kaushal in Malad, Mumbai. When he was born his father was a stuntman. Coming from a humble origin to the city of dreams Mumbai, Sham Kaushal has come a long way.
He was born in a small village named Tanda in Punjab. He did his post-graduation in English Literature from Govt. College Hoshiarpur, Punjab. He worked for 31 long years as an action director in Bollywood.
Sham came to Mumbai for survival with no intention of working in films. But after doing his job as a sales representative for one year, he realized that his interest is somewhere else.
He worked for 7 years as a stuntman in Bollywood, before getting the chance to be an independent assistant director in 1990. His first movie as an assistant director was a Malayalam film ‘Indrajalam’. His first Bollywood movie as an assistant director was ‘Prahar’ led by renowned Bollywood actor Nana Patekar.

Sunny Kaushal is an actor and the younger brother of Vicky Kaushal. He also worked as an assistant director in Bollywood like his father. As assistant director, he worked in movies like “My Friend Pinto” (2011) and “Guday” (2014).
He started his acting career by playing roles in theatre plays. He made his acting debut in Bollywood with a comedy-drama film Sunshine Music Tours and Travels in 2016. He was also a part of the short film Love at First Sight in 2017.
He played the role of Himmat Singh, in the 2018 historical sports drama film based on the National Hockey Team’s 1948 Olympic-winning team namely GOLD. He was nominated for the 25th Screen Awards in the category of best-supporting actor for his role.
His latest work is at the Amazon Prime Web Series, The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye. His latest romantic film Shiddat (2021) received mixed to positive reviews.
