K. G. F. Chapter 2, received positive reviews from the critics as well as the fans, it is being praised for its wonderful cinematography, high octane action sequence, dialogues, and performance of key characters Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Srinidhi Shetty.
Known movie critics Taran Adarsh gave the film 4.5 out of 5 stars, Sumit Kadel 4.5/5, and Rohit Jaiswal 4 out of 5, the latter praised the film in his one-word reviews, “Bonafide Blockbuster”

Chapter 2 releases worldwide on over 10,000 screens with 4,400+ screens in North India and 2,600+ screens in South, the overseas Hindi version screened in 1100+ theaters, and the south languages version in 2900+ theaters. It was released on over 350+ screens in Tamil Nadu.
K.G.F 2 also marks the first Sandalwood film to release in IMAX theatres.

The film has done a record-breaking opening business, the monster collected Rs 53.95 Cr nett in the Hindi version, leaving behind Bollywood biggies Hrithik Roshan starrer War’s all-time opening day record of Rs 51.60 Cr, and Thugs of Hindustan’s starring Aamir Khan Rs 50.75 Cr.

The film has already seen the record-breaking advance bookings in Karnataka and the northern belt, after Baahubali 2, Not only this but the Yash Starrer also became the first film that collected the highest share for any dubbed movie in the Nizam area.
The film churned out Rs 9.68 Cr share, as per the reports, it accumulated around Rs 31 Cr gross from the Telugu-speaking states. Rs 29.20 Cr from Karnataka, Overseas Rs 23.90 Cr.

The film has done the Rs 75 Cr gross business through the advance sales by selling over 40 lakh tickets, with most Rs 25 Cr+ in Hindi, it sold the ticket worth Rs 5Cr in Tamil Nadu.
The Day 1 lifetime biz for India gross is Rs 134.50 Cr, taking the total worldwide collection to around Rs 165 Cr gross.

In North Yash starrer K.G.F 2 is distributed by Farhan Akhtar’s excel entertainment and AA films, Kannada version by Hombale Films through KRG Studios and Jayanna Films, Varahi Chalana Chitram are the distributors for Telugu, Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Prithviraj Productions are the Malayalam version’s distributors and the Dream Warrior Pictures are Tamil distributors.
Prashanth Neel’s directorial K.G.F 2 is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films, Bhuvan Gowda’s cinematography is receiving praise from the fans, the music by Ravi Basrur is also well received by the audience, Ujwal Kulkarni is the editor.
