KGF 2 is currently the sixth highest-grossing film of India and slowly inching towards the Rs 1000 cr mark, to join the 1000 cr club the monster will have to battle with the lifetime gross of Aamir’s Secret Superstar (Rs 966.86 Crs) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman Khan’s (Rs 969.06 Crs).
It is expected that the Rocky Bhai starrer will cross both the film’s lifetime biz by the end of its second week given its bull run at the box office. The period action flick in its 12 days theatrical run has collected Rs 925.5 Crs at the box office worldwide, and as per the early reports, it raked in around Rs 18 Cr on Tuesday taking the total collection to around Rs 942.75 Crs gross WW.
In the Hindi belt Yash starrer continues to garner the audience in the decent numbers, the film recently had a blockbuster weekend of Rs 52.49 Cr and is now on the way to cross the Rs 350 Cr mark, let us inform you that the film will cross the lifetime Hindi biz of Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 339.16 crores) on Wednesday and further PK’s (Rs 340.8 crores) to become the 4th highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
It is also to be noted that Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju had collected Rs 342.53 Cr in Hindi and Dangal Rs 387.38 Cr, while the film will have to wait for a while to cross the Dangal’s Hindi biz, it will easily cross the former’s collection by Thursday to become the third highest-grossing Hindi film.
