The monster ahead the ending of its second week have broken so many records, the action flick currently holds the third-ranking in the highest-grossing film in India after Baahubali 2 and RRR, with Rs 753 crores.
After the film has become a blockbuster there is much anticipation about chapter 3 of the flick, recently Yash who has given an interview to the news portal variety teased the fans by saying that there are some portions left behind in part 2 which they may feature in the third part.
Coming to the collections, Rocky Bhai starrer after drawing in close to Rs 350 crores nett at the box office in Hindi has become the 3rd highest-grossing Hindi film that accumulated this much amount from the domestic market. The action flick is now behind only Dangal (Rs 387.38 Cr) and Baahubali 2 (Rs 511 Cr).
KGF 2 has become the 4th highest-grossing Indian film of all time with Day 15 collections. As per the reports, the film crosses the lifetime biz of Aamir’s Secret Superstar (Rs 966.86 Cr) and Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 969.06 Cr).
In the 14-day theatrical run, the film has accumulated around Rs 957.65 Cr at the box office worldwide and grossed Rs 14 Cr (as we had estimated) on Day 15 taking the total collection over Rs 970 crores worldwide. The action flick is only Rs 2.2 crore behind to cross the Rs 150 crore mark in the home market.
In Hindi, it collected Rs 5.68 crore nett making the total collection Rs 348.81 crore, with Rs 1.2 crore behind to cross the Rs 350 Cr mark that it will fetch on Friday.
