The period action monster is on a spree of breaking records ever since it hit the theatres, the film recently became the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of all time, it now only trails behind Dangal (Rs 2024 crore), Baahubali2 (Rs 1810 crore), and RRR (Rs 1115 crore***).
The Hindi version which is the most successful among all versions continues its bull run at the box office north, the film made a half-century on the very first day, a century on the second, double ton on the 5th day, triple on the 11th and now crosses Rs 350 Cr mark on day 16.
As per the early reports, it collected around Rs 4.25 Cr nett on Friday taking the total Hindi collections to around Rs 353.06 crores, reportedly Yash starrer saw a boom in Friday collections, it churned out Rs 19.05 Cr gross at the BO worldwide on Day 16 making the total collections Rs 991.40 crores gross.
Prashant Neel’s directorial is now only Rs 8.6 crores behind to join the prestigious 1000 crore club which it will certainly fetch on Saturday itself.

KGF2 now needs around Rs 36 Cr to cross the Dangal’s Hindi bizz which is the 2nd highest grosser in Hindi in the domestic market. The film is expected to collect the amount in the third week itself. Following two days or the last two days of the third weekend could show the surge in the footfalls at the ticket counters, which will soar the overall business of KGF 2.
Though the film has seen a dip in the screen counts owing to the two biggies released this Friday, the film will continue the good hold for further 2-3 weeks also.
