Rocky Bhai’s Monster after raking in record-breaking opening figures is now gearing for the blockbuster first weekend. Not only the first chapter it seems the whole K.G.F franchise has achieved the cult status, as many fans after watching the early shows took to Twitter and start asking makers for the Chapter 3.
Part 2 was released on April 14 (Thursday) with blockbuster reviews, the film received an average review of 4 out of 5, movie critics Taran Adarsh, Sumit Kadel, and Rohit Jaiswal gave the film 4.5 out of 5 stars, while news portals Firstpost, TOI gave 4 out 5, and Deccan Herald, India Today gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Critics praised the film for its cinematography, writing, climax, technical aspects, fighting sequence, and the performances of the main leads Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena, and Srinidhi Shetty.
Box Office Collection Day 2
Going by the trends, K.G.F 2 will get bigger and better on the first weekend, many of the slots have already been booked till Sunday, Rocky Bhai starrer raked in Rs 46.79 Cr nett in Hindi on Friday, around Rs 21 Cr gross from the Telugu speaking states, taking the total worldwide Day 2 collection to over Rs 123.90 Cr.

Box Office Collection Sate Wise( 2 days):
The period action flick collected Rs 54.60 Cr gross from the home market Karnataka, Rs 52 Cr from Telugu speaking states, Rs 17.45 Cr from Tamilnadu, Hindi audience seems loving the film, the chapter 2 in two days collected Rs 100.74 Cr in the Hindi belt. It raked in over Rs 30 Cr from the Overseas market, making the two days worldwide collection Rs 288.10 Cr (approx).
Box Office Collection Day 1
K.G.F Chapter 2 was released on a huge 10,000+ screens worldwide, with over 4000 in the northern belt alone, as per the reports, the film went on to collect the historical figure in the Hindi belt, it collected over Rs 53 Cr nett figures, it left behind War (Rs 51.60 Cr) and Aamir starrer TOH (Rs 50.75 Cr) on the day 1.
This is something unreal as earlier box office south outings like Baahubali 2 and RRR have a huge share from the Telugu-speaking states, but the Rocky Bhai starrer is churning out outstanding collections from all the states.
It managed to rake in Rs 31 Cr gross (Rs 19.09 Cr shares) from AP/TG and in Kerala, it became the highest opening day grosser with Rs 7.1 Cr despite having fewer screens than Beast.
