The pan India period action film KGF2 is creating a rampage at the box office even during its fourth week. The film on its fourth Sunday has surpassed the lifetime BO collections of Rajamouli’s RRR, despite the fact that RRR was made on a big scale budget than KGF2.
While RRR is currently on its 6th week, Yash starrer has left it behind in just 25 days, not only this, the latter film is getting a phenomenal response in the domestic market from the cinephiles.
Churning out Rs 947.20 crores (all versions) in 25 days KGF2 is currently in the no.2 position in the list of highest-grossing films in India, though it is yet far away to dethrone Baahubali 2 from the top spot. B2 had minted Rs 1429 crores from India only.
Now the top 3 film that sits in the highest-grossing India list is non-Hindi films, in fact, the highest-grossing Indian film Dangal collected only Rs 538.03 crores in the country, it will be interesting to see which upcoming Bollywood film will break this record.
As we know, among all versions the Hindi version of the film is taking the lead, Yash starter showing a growth of 31% compared to the fourth Saturday had minted Rs 6.25 Cr in Hindi.

As per BOI, KGF2 will collect Rs 10 crore more in the Hindi belt and will be settled around Rs 425 crore nett mark collections. Yash starrer is now eying on the box office collections of Tanhaji’s in Mumbai (Rs 136.9 Cr). KGF2 is around Rs 14 Crs behind in the area with total collections in Mumbai (Rs 122.93 Cr).
After surpassing the worldwide box office collections of RRR, Yash starrer now becomes the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time. It is certainly a big achievement for a small industry film like Sandalwood, KGF2 has become the pride of the cinema.
As per the recent reports, Yash starrer earned Rs 10.55 crores gross at the box office worldwide on Monday making the total collections Rs 1162 crores gross worldwide. It is Rs 3.5 crore more than the early estimates.
