KGF2 starring rocking star Yash had a phenomenal fourth weekend in Hindi, the film raked in Rs 14.85 Cr nett and became the third Indian film to have the highest fourth weekend.
It dethroned Ajay’s Tanhaji from the third rank of the highest grosser 4th weekend (Rs 13.53 Cr), though it failed to surpass the 4th-weekend collection of Rajamouli’s Baahubali2 (Rs 18.30 Cr) and Vicky Kaushal’s URI (Rs 18.94 Cr).
With the fourth weekend collections of Rs 14.85 Cr, it also became the highest 4th weekend grosser of 2022 surpassing the collections of the all-time blockbuster The Kashmir Files (Rs 6.75 Cr) and Rajamouli’s RRR (Rs 10.05 Cr).
There are only 4 days left to complete its one-month theatrical run but the collections are still pouring in, raking in Rs 2.5 Cr on Monday, the total Hindi figures of the film stand at Rs 415.3 Cr.
As per the Box Office India, the Hindi version of KGF2 has crossed the overseas business of Sooryavanshi and ’83 by touching the 9 million dollars (INR 69 Cr approx) mark. It breaks the post covid highest grosser record of Ranveer Singh’s ’83 (INR 65 Cr approx) and Akshay’s Sooryavanshi (INR 64 Cr approx).
As per the latest, it garnered Rs 1.8 Cr nett on Tuesday for a total Hindi collection of Rs 416.1 crores nett. In the Hindi circuit, the film has already surpassed the collections of RRR on the first day of the 2nd week and most recently surpassed its worldwide collections during the 4th week.
Early reports suggest, that maintaining the same pace, it accumulated Rs 7 crores gross on the fourth Tuesday also, making the total collections around Rs 1169.25 crores gross worldwide.
Prashant Neel’s directorial had already raked in Rs 100 Cr gross from the four major market of India Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and the home market Karnataka.
Though we already know the capability of the former three markets, KGF2 has shown the capability of the Karnataka box office, where it has earned Rs 176 Cr gross (Rs 101 crore shares), so far.
