Prashant Neel’s period action flick KGF2 has become a double blockbuster after minting Rs 240 Cr profits successfully in its 5th week at the box office.
The film even after a month enjoys an amazing run at the box office, it will soon cross the Rs 200 Cr gross mark in the home market of Karnataka. So far it has collected over Rs 180 Cr from there and is expected to join the dream club during the 6th week.
The Hindi version of the film still churning out crores, it had earned Rs 6.35 Cr in the 5th weekend. The film became the first choice of the viewers in the Hindi market, as its competitors Runway 34 and Heropanti 2 have failed to attract the footfall towards the ticket window.
With over Rs 425 crores nett collection in Hindi, the film is now slowly heading towards the overall collection of Baahubali 2 (Rs 510.99 Cr) in the Hindi circuit, though it will be very difficult for the Yash starrer to fetch this amount.
However, as per the trade analyst, the film will see an overall amount in the Hindi market in the range of Rs 450-460 crores, as it will soon be released on the OTT platform also, which will halt its BO business.
Now, coming to the day-wise BO collections, as per the early estimation, it will rake in around Rs 1 Cr** in Hindi on Day 33 taking the total collections to Rs 428 Crs**.

KGF2 is mounting towards the Rs 200 Cr gross mark in the overseas market, so far the film has collected Rs 196.35 Cr gross from there. As we have estimated the film has still held the grip well on working days of Week 5, it collected Rs 4.05 Cr gross worldwide on Day 33 taking the total WW collection to Rs 1204.20 Cr gross.
