Filmmaker Prashanth Neel is currently basking in the success of chapter 2 of his period action film KGF, the film has crossed a huge Rs 600 Crs at the box office within 5 days of its theatrical release.
Now, after the huge success of KGF2, the makers of the film are now willing to increase Neel’s next film Salaar which has the pan India actor Prabhas in the lead. As per the recent reports, Prabhas starring Salaar will now be upgraded with high octane action sequences with the augmented budget.
However, the KGF chapter2 was released on 14 April 2022, the film in 6 days has collected Rs 238 Cr in Hindi, it touched the Rs 50 Cr mark in these days, the film also became to join the Rs 200 Cr club fastest ever to do that, and it is also the third film to touch the Rs 200 Cr mark in Hindi after TKF and RRR.
Now, Yash starrer collected Rs 16.35 Cr on Wednesday taking the total collection to Rs 255.05 Cr mark, the film has become the fastest ever to cross the Rs 250 Cr mark in a week, it broke the record of Baahubali2’s 8 days record in Hindi.
On Tuesday the film had crossed the Rs 100 Cr gross figure from the home market Karnataka, it minted Rs 6.2 Cr on Wed, making the total collections Rs 108.80 Cr.
Rocky Bhai starrer grossed Rs 43.15 Cr (Rs 20.74 Cr nett) on Wednesday at the BO worldwide.
