Directed and written by Prashanth Neel, KGF part 2 has been released in theaters now. The Kannada film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur, holding the banner of Hombale Films.
KGF 2 is a sequel to the original KGF 1 in the year 2018. The film releases in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam. The music composer of the film is Ravi Basrur and the cinematography is handled by Bhuvan Gowda.
KGF 2 Release Date
Though the movie was to be released earlier in 2021, the pandemic delayed the release and now the film has finally released on April 14, 2022.
The date was announced in November 2021 by the filmmakers, KGF Chapter 2 is much in talks like Bahubali 2 was after Bahubali: The Beginning, one of the major South Indian Movies.

KGF 2 Plot
The film revolves around Rocky (Yash), the protagonist, who tries to gain all power after having a traumatic childhood experience of losing his mother at a very young age due to poverty. He takes control of the gold mines in Kolar and the government takes him as a threat to the legal system.
He makes enemies and we see bloody battles everywhere, especially between Adheera and Rocky whose quest for unchallenged supremacy continues. The film also marks the debut of the Indian film industry, Sanjay Dutt in the Kannada film industry.

In July 2021, the teaser of the film received 200 million views and it was floored all over the internet. While watching it, we can clearly make out the story of a poor mother who is unable to take care of her child due to poverty and soon succumbs to it while the kid grows up to avenge her mother’s death and takes control.
This becomes clear when the teaser says “History tells us that powerful people come from powerful places but I was wrong powerful people make places”. The theme of prowess and influence can be clearly seen in the teaser.

The approximate budget of the film has been calculated to Rs 200 Cr.+
