Sandalwood heartthrob actor Yash starrer period action drama film K.G.F is currently wreaking havoc at the box office and broke so many records, the film has churned out massive Rs 1200 Cr+ in an over one month theatrical run, meanwhile, the film is also gearing for the OTT release, scroll down and read on to know.
Directed and written by Prasanth Neel, KGF two is the second installment of the two-part series. The previous part KGF: Chapter 1 was released on December 20, 2018, originally in dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi along with the original (Kannada) version.
The film performed very well at BO and collected a whopping amount of Rs. 250 Crore in its entire theatrical run, against a total budget of Rs. 80 Crore.
The huge success of the first part had also created much hype for the upcoming sequel even before its release, the film was then released in theaters on April 14, 2022.
This much-hyped Pan India film is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur and Bhaumik Gondaliya under the banner of Hombale Films.
On technical front, the cinematography is handled by Bhuvan Gowda and Ujwal Kulkarni edited it while it has music and background score by Ravi Basrur.
KGF: Chapter 2 OTT & TV Rights Sold
The post-theatrical OTT Streaming rights of the film are acquired by streaming giant Amazon Prime Videos at a whopping price.
The television rights of the film have also been sold to Zee5 for Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages while the television rights of the Hindi dubbed version is acquired by Sony Max.
As per the reports K.G.F 2 will be released on Amazon Prime Video after a month of the theatrical release as earlier the big-ticket Pushpa was also released after a month on the platform, however, an announcement is yet awaited from the makers.

Watch Before OTT Subscription…
If you want to watch the film beforehand, the good news is Amazon Prime has made available the film for the viewers before the digital subscription, now you can rent the film at Rs 199, it is available on the platform in all five languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
You don’t need to pay for the subscription to the film, you just have to pay the amount of the rental price and start watching the film.

The mass action entertainer will have its grand theater release on April 14 in all major South Indian languages along with Hindi Language.
The Kannada version will be distributed by Hombale Films through KRG Studios and Jayanna Films, while Hindi dubbed version by Excel Entertainment & AA Films, Telugu version by Sri Venkateswara Creations, Tamil version by Dream Warrior Pictures and Malayalam version by Prithviraj Productions.
Nothing to learn from this movie. If showing violence or jumping on ropes is all you want then sky is the limit. Make a movie in one language an get dubbed by someone else is the most simple think. Where is the talent of actors depicted if they do not render their voice in other language? Other language audience ask, what are we paying out our money for?
