The news was in limelight that Bollywood’s ace filmmaker Karan Johar’s popular and controversial chat show Koffee With Karan will never come back but later host Karan himself cleared the things and now has been returned with its 7th season, after creating so much suspense, finally KJO winning with this popular chat show.
The show has given us many memorable moments from celebrity gossip and controversies as many popular celebrities from Hindi and South Indian film industry came into the show in the past too.
Recap to KWK previous Seasons
The show first aired on 19th November 2004 and it was the second longest-running talk show after “Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan” on Indian Hindi-language television.
It concluded its sixth season on 17th March 2019 which made headlines for all the wrong reasons due to nepotism factor, which re-sparked the debate, especially after the sad demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the year 2020.
At that time, reports had stated that the makers of Karan Johar’s show have decided to pull the plug in the wake of severe criticism online, but the show is all set to make a huge comeback.
Most Controversial Episode of Koffee With Karan
The show also got into a big trouble after its one of controversial episodes in which Indian cricketers Hardik Pandeya and KL Rahul were the guests, and while answering a question of KJO, Hardik made some misogynistic and sexist comments which led to a huge controversy.
Later, the all-rounder took to Twitter and apologized for hurting people’s sentiments. Both Hardik and Rahul were suspended by BCCI, which was lifted after some time and they were fined Rs. 20 Lakhs.
While on one side a section of people always criticize the show and KJO, on the other side, fans of the show were all excited after hearing the news of the show’s return. People love to watch the show due to its interesting concept where various veteran and young actors and actors, filmmakers come to the show and as per show’s concept, Karan ask personal questions to them and there is also a rapid fire round in the show, in which the celebrities have to give answer quickly and who answers fast wins a gift hamper.

This talk show fans are waiting to see newlywed and most adorable star couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen appearance after their wedding. It was also reported that Bollywood’s young divas Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, who are often seen traveling and working out together, will grace the couch this season.
Koffee With Karan Season 7 Episodes, Guest, Date
Gully Boy pair Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt who are pairing for Karan Johar directorial Rockey Aur Rani ki Prem Kahani, were the first guests in the show, their episode premiered on 7th of July at 7:00 Pm.
The next Thursday same time, besties Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor came into the show and spread to much laugh and fun all over.
Then third episode was premiered on 21st of July, Thursday where Akshay Kumar and Samantha graced the show. Then another south sensation actor Vijay Deverakonda appeared in the show with Ananya Panday, liger couple looked great in 4th episode.
5th episode guests are surprising, Upcoming Movie Laal Singh Chaddha’s lead pair Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor graced the episode sooner, on Thursday 4th Aug, 12 am.
6th Episode guests were also surprising, Raksha Bandhan week got more special with Kapoor siblings to have hot sip of coffee. Then 7th Episode guests Sidharth Malhotra and Vicky Kaushal were also surprising, ep 7 streaming from 18th of Aug, 12:00 am.
Hindi blockbuster film Kabir Singh (2019) hit pair Kiara and Shahid graced the episode8 on 25th of Aug 2022. Heropanti pair Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon seen on 1st of Sep, Thursday (12:00 am), streaming on the platform.
On 8th of Sep, Phone Bhoot trio Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi appear in the show, it’s 10th episode of KWK-7. On 15th of Sep, episode 11 guests Varun Dhawan and Anil Kapoor appeared in the show.
Jug Jugg Jeeyo father-son duo Anil Kapoor-Varun Dhawan episode was expecting finale one but the continues with surprise guest list.
