D23 Expo, which is the biggest fan fest event of Disney and it is being held in Anaheim, California and was concluded on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Disney, at this fan fest, announced the slate of its upcoming projects which also includes some of its upcoming Indian projects set to premiere as part of Hotstar Specials.
It includes the Indian adaptation of Mahabharat, Emaraan Hashmi starrer showtime, which is set to premiere in 2023 and is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. Apart from that, it also announced the Season 8 of KJo’s popular Indian chat show Koffee With Karan.
The show has been a tremendous hit with audiences ever since it debuted on Star World India on November 19, 2004 and it is exciting for those who are curious in the private light of celebrities from the film industry.
After successfully completing its six seasons, the show premiered its Season 7 on July 7, 2022 and this time there is a change in telecasting medium. From this season KWK has moved to Disney+Hotstar unlike the previous season which aired on Star World India (except Season 2, which simulcasted on Star One).

Koffee With Karan Season 8 Release Date
The Koffee with Karan Season 7 produced by host Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Aneesha Baig under Dharmatic Entertainment Production is expected to premiere next year on Disney Plus Hotstar. However, apart from announcing the 8th season, the makers haven’t revealed much about it.
The ongoing season 7 of the show premieres on a weekly basis (each episode on every Thursday) and has completed its 10 episodes so far. Like the previous seasons it is also going superhit.

Almost all the Bollywood actors have appeared on the show over the years including Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and many others.
Along with Bollywood celebs, Tollywood stars like Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vijay Deverakonda, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati have also appeared on the show.
