Kothala Rayudu is a most awaited money monster comedy-drama that features one of the popular and multiple award-winning Telugu stars Meka Srinkanth, popularly known as Srikanth, in the male lead role.
Srinkanth is a senior actor in the Tollywood film industry, who appeared in more than 120 films, in his career of more than thirty years.
Srikanth was last seen in Boyapati Srinu’s critically acclaimed Telugu action drama film Akhanda, in which he played a crucial role along with veteran superstar of Telugu cinema Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Along with films, he also worked in two web series namely Chadarangam and Shootout at Aliar, in which Prakash Raj was his co-star. Both series were aired on Zee5 in 2020.

Along with actor Srikanth, actors Natasha Doshi and Dimple Chopade will also be seen in lead roles.
Natasha was last seen in the 2018 Telugu action drama film Jai Simha, which was her debut Telugu film. She shared the screen with popular actors like Nandamurthy Balakrishna and Nayanthara in the movie.

This project is helmed by C.H. Sudheer Raju. Along with directing the film, he also wrote the story and the screenplay of the film while it is bankrolled by A.S. Kishore and Kolan Venkatesh under the banner of A.S.K. Films.
The music in the film is given by Sunil Kashyap. He also sang the Tamil and Telugu version of the legendary music composer A.R. Rehman’s Azeemo Shan Shehenshah from 2008’s critically acclaimed epic historical drama Jodha Akbar.

The trailer of this most-awaited family drama was released on Monday, 31st January 2022. This one-minute trailer looks so promising as Srinkanth is showcased as a jolly, fun-loving person.
Srinkanth is portraying the character of a money-minded person, for whom, money is everything and who can do anything for this.
The trailer also showed a glimpse of Muruli Sharma, who is widely known for portraying either a cop or a villain in movies.
He is well-known for playing the character called Zikomo in the 2007 Comedy thriller Dhol, starring Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Kunal Khemu, and Tanushree Dutta in lead roles.
Apart from that, he is also known for his roles as Sawant and Mohan Dande in the comedy films Golmaal Returns and Golmaal 3, respectively.

This comedy-drama film will hit the big screen on Friday, February 4. 2022. No announcements regarding the post-theatrical OTT streaming have been made yet.
