Shiva Karthik Directorial Kotigobba 3 starring Badshah Sudeep has some screening issues on 14th Oct. This long-awaited movie had been pending for many years due to various reasons, it is a sequel to the earlier release Kotigobba 2 which was released in 2016.
This Big-Budget Kannada language movie is an action-thriller, which is produced by Soorappa Babu. Actor-Singer Madonna Sebastian who mostly works in Tamil and Malayalam cinema is playing the lead actress role in the movie opposite Sudeep.

This romantic thriller’s one song ‘Akashane Adarisuva’ had completed one million views on YouTube within 3:30 hrs of its release date.

Reason Behind, Delaying in Shooting
The shooting for the film started in June 2018 in Belgrade city of Serbia, it took a lot of time to complete the production of the film, because of the other film’s schedule of the main lead Sudeep, and further owing to the coronavirus pandemic. Production completed in Jan 2020.
Kotigobba 3 Budget
This film is made up of Rs 70 crores of budget, which the producer Soorappa Babu himself confirmed. The film was shot in many countries including Malaysia, Serbia, Thailand, and Poland. Reportedly, films Digital Rights, Satellite Rights, and Hindi Dubbing rights have been sold for Rs 27 crores already.
Teaser, Trailer & Release Date
Film’s teaser was released on 2 Sept 2020 on Anand Studio’s official YouTube channel, it crossed 50 lakh plus views with 1.9 lakh likes. Fans of Badshah Sudeep are eagerly awaiting the release of the movie. Its trailer is to be released on 7 October 2021on the YouTube platform Anand Studio’s channel.
The film was to be released on 30 April 2020 but got delayed owing to a surge in corona cases in India, the makers on Sudeep’s birthday which was held on Sept 2 announced that the film will release theatrically on 14 October 2021, delayed a day again due to some issues.
Now set to release on Streaming Platform Amazon Prime Video on 23rd Nov 2021.
