The long-awaited Telugu rom-com movie “Krishna Vrinda Vihari” or “KVV” releases in theatres worldwide. It is directed by Anish R. Krishna and stars Naga Shaurya and Shirley Setia.
It passed with a UA certificate by the CBFC board and has a runtime of 139mins or 2hrs 19mins. The romantic comedy opened to mostly mixed reviews from the critics.

KVV Break Even Target
The worldwide theatrical rights of the flick are sold at Rs 5.88 crores, hence it needs to recover around 6 crores shares to emerge as a successful flick at the box office. Whereas Telugu-speaking state’s rights are sold at Rs 5.63 crores.
Box Office Collections Day 1
Krishna Vrinda Vihari has failed to create a buzz surrounding it and the mixed response from the critics will translate into low opening figures at the box office. Though, it did witness excellent occupancy on the first day owing to national cinema day.
The day 1 domestic figure are yet to come, the film has grossed more than its previews on Day 1 at the US box office. Naga’s film collected $31,284 on Day 1 and it had raked in $16,144 from its premieres.
The break-even target of the flick is easy, it now needs to sustain well over the weekend to emerge as a commercial success.

KVV Screen Counts
It has been released in 710 theatres worldwide which includes Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over 472 theatres, it occupied 60+ theatres in Karnataka and the rest of India, and the overseas theatre counts are 180. It has occupied the most 220+ theatres in Andhra followed by Nizam (172 theatres) and Ceeded around 80 theatres.

Naga Shaurya-Shirley Setia starrer received a mixed response from the critics with praising the performances of Naga Shaurya and Venella Kishore, comedy portions, and dialogues while panned the regular narration, climax, weak screenplay in the 2nd half, and some cliched scenes.

In the technical department, Si Sriram cranked the camera, Tammiraju handled the editing, and Music is given by Mahathi Swara Sagar.
The development of the flick began in Oct 2020 with its announcement and it was tentatively titled NS22 and IRA4 until it was officially titled “Krishna Vrinda Vihari” on Jun 2022.
