Popular Punjabi/Bollywood singer Guru Randhawa who has given many hit songs over the years such as Lahore, High-Rated Gabru, Ishaare Tere, Patola etc., is now ready to start his career in acting with upcoming Hindi film Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay.
Touted to be a romantic comedy drama, this film is directed by most-sought after Telugu director G. Ashok, who has given several successful films in Telugu film industry such as Ushodayam, Aakasa Ramanna, Pilla Zamindar, Sukumarudu, Bhaagamathie among others.
Release Date
The makers of the film haven’t made many official announcements regarding its release date. Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay is expected to be released some time next year.

Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay Star Cast
The films stars Guru Randhawa in the lead role as Heer whereas actress Saiee Manjrekar is playing his love interest Ira in the film. The actress is known for playing key roles in movies like Ghani and Major.
Other than these actors, the film also stars veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, for whom the film is 532nd one of his career. Additionally, the film stars Ila Arun, Atul Srivastava, Paritosh Tripathi and Paresh Ganatra in pivotal roles.

It features him in a never-seen-before-role along with the key star cast. veteran actor Anupam Kher is seen in an old man role in the poster.

About the Film
The film is a comedy entertainer and it will explore the love story of Heer and Ira. The script of the film is written by Raj Saluja, Niket Pandey, Shobhit Sinha and Vijay Pal Singh.
RM Swamy is the director of cinematography. Businessman-turned-filmmaker Ashok Bhatia is backing the film in his first production venture under the banner of his Mach Films. Hitesh Bhatia is the co-producer.
