Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda and acclaimed South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu are sharing the screen in their upcoming rib-tickling romantic drama film titled Kushi.
This family entertainer marks the reunion of the lead actor who previously worked together in Nag Ashwin directorial 2018 Telugu biographical drama film Mahanati, which was based on the life of Indian actor Savitri.
Kushi Star Cast
If we talk about Arjun Reddy star Vijay Deverakonda, his last highly-anticipated sports drama film Liger, which was released on August 25, 2022, jointly produced by Bollywood’s ace filmmaker Karan Johar Puri Jagannadh and Charm Kaur, but it was huge failure at Box Office.
While Samantha was appeared in Tamil romantic comedy film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which released on April 28, 2022. Along with Kushi, the actress has two more Telugu films Shaakuntalam and Yashoda, that are under-development.
Along with the leading star cast, the film also features Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna and Srikanth Iyengar.

The film marks the fourth directorial venture of Shiva Nirvana after romantic comedies Ninnu Kori (2017) and Majili (2019), and action thriller Tuck Jagadish (2021). Talking about technical crew, G. Murali is serving as the director of photography, Prawin Pudi as the editor and Hesham Abdul Wahab as the music composer.
Kushi is backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the production house that has delivered many notable films like Allu Arjun’s multiple record-breaking “Pushpa: The Rise” and Mahesh Babu’s recently released “Sarkaru Vaari Paata”, which is dong amazing at the box-office and has grossed around Rs. 137 crore within just four days of its release.
Kushi Release Date
On May 16, 2022, the makers of this romantic comedy flick revealed its release date along with its title and first look, which features Samantha sitting in a pink saree all smiling, as she turns around and looks at Deverakonda, who can be seen in long Kashmiri winter coat, flaunting a cigarette in his mouth.
The beautiful and colorful poster also shows the end of Samantha’s saree tied up with Vijay’s clothes. The mind-blowing chemistry between both actors made their fans crazy.
What further adds beauty to the poster is the snow-covered mountain and a beautiful pink volcano explosion in the background making the map of the beautiful UT of Kashmir. The lead actor Vijay Deverakonda has also shared the poster and define its as “An Epic Romantic comedy”.
